Dedicated Doula Care, Centered on You
Compassionate Support, Centered on You
Our small, experienced team of dedicated doulas is available for hire, offering all-inclusive, one-on-one care to support families during their birth and postpartum journey.
Our comprehensive package ensures that every family feels seen, heard, and empowered during this transformative time—extending well beyond birth and into the critical postpartum period.
What’s Included:
Whole-Family Support
Doulas provide care that extends beyond the birthing person, offering reassurance, guidance, and practical support to partners, siblings, and other family members to create a cohesive and nurturing environment for everyone.
Prenatal Visits
Tailored sessions to help you prepare for labor, create a birth plan, explore comfort measures that suit your needs, and build rapport with the entire family and birth team.
Labor and Birth Support
Continuous, one-on-one care during labor, including physical techniques for comfort, emotional reassurance, and advocacy to honor your birth preferences.
Flexible Payment Options That Empower Our Communities
We understand that every family’s financial situation is unique. Our sliding-scale pricing and payment plans ensure families can access this exclusive level of care without added stress.
When you hire a doula through our program, you’re not only investing in your own family’s care but also helping us sustain the Community-Supported Doula Care Program. Your support enables families facing financial barriers to receive the compassionate care they deserve at no cost.
Extended Postpartum Support
We know the early postpartum period can be both beautiful and overwhelming. That’s why our all-inclusive care extends six weeks after your baby is born. During this time, your doula remains on-call, offering peace of mind and in-home postpartum support at no additional cost. Postpartum support can look like:
• Guidance and support in the weeks after birth, including newborn care tips, feeding assistance, and resources to help you adjust to life with your baby.
• Emotional reassurance and practical help during this vital recovery and bonding period.
Caring Communication
Ongoing access to your doula via text, phone, or email to answer questions, offer advice, and provide encouragement throughout your journey.
Sliding Scale Payment Guide
-
This tier reflects the full cost of doula care and helps sustain our ability to offer
services to those with fewer financial resources.
If you have financial security, access to generational wealth, or economic privilege, we
invite you to invest in birth justice by paying the full amount. Your contribution helps
ensure that doulas can provide care to all families, regardless of financial barriers.
You may fall into this tier if most or all of the following apply to you:
• I can comfortably meet all of my basic needs (food, housing, healthcare,
transportation).
• I am debt-free or my debt does not impact my basic needs.
• I own property or rent higher-end housing.
• I am employed or do not need to work to meet my needs.
• I have savings and expendable income (e.g., I can buy coffee, books, or new
clothes without financial stress).
• I can afford vacations and time off without significant burden.
If this describes your financial situation, your payment uplifts not just your own care,
but another parent’s access to support.
-
If the full cost of doula care is a considered investment but does not create financial
hardship, this is your tier. Paying at this rate keeps doula care accessible while ensuring
doulas are compensated fairly. Before selecting this tier, we encourage exploring flexible payment plans to meet the
full cost, if possible, to reserve sliding-scale spots for those in greater need.
You may fall into this tier if most or all of the following apply to you:
• I am able to meet all of my basic needs.
• I may have some debt, but it does not significantly impact my ability to
afford necessities.
• I rent or own a mid-level home and have stable housing.
• I have a steady job or multiple streams of income.
• I have some financial savings and expendable income.
• I can afford some new items and take vacations every few years.
If this describes your financial situation, your payment sustains our work while keeping
our services accessible to more families.
-
If paying at the higher tiers would create financial hardship and interfere with your
ability to meet your basic needs, this is your tier.
This rate is made possible by those who are able to pay at higher tiers. We
encourage you to select it only if a higher tier would significantly impact your financial
stability.
Before choosing this option, we ask you to consider whether family, friends, or
community support could help supplement the cost. This helps ensure that sliding-
scale spots remain available for those with no other financial resources.
You may fall into this tier if most or all of the following apply to you:
• I sometimes worry about meeting basic needs, but I consistently manage.
• I have debt that occasionally impacts my ability to afford other expenses or
opportunities.• I rent or own affordable or subsidized housing or have only recently gained
stable housing.
• I have an income that covers my basic needs, but I need to budget carefully for
additional expenses like birth support.
• I have little savings and limited expendable income.
• I mostly thrift or buy used items rather than new.
• I have to actively save in order to take time off work or travel.
If you live in a multi-income household, we encourage you to consider the overall
financial picture when choosing this tier.
We trust you to select the tier that aligns with your financial reality. No proof of
income is required—just honest reflection.
Our sliding scale pricing is designed to make doula care accessible while ensuring
fair compensation for birth workers. We trust that families will assess their financial
situation with integrity and choose the option that best aligns with their needs.
