About Us
Due North Support Services LLC is committed to fostering racial equity, community-centered care, and belonging in multicultural spaces, with a strong focus on Indigenous-serving programs in Alaska. One of our key initiatives, Full Embrace, provides doula training and mentorship, strengthening community networks of care for Alaskan families and birthworkers.
This position is supported through the Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Prevention (MMVP) Grant, which aims to address disparities in maternal health by increasing access to culturally responsive, community-based care. Through this initiative, we are working to expand access to Indigenous, BIPOC, and community-rooted doulas who provide essential support to families before, during, and after birth. The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a crucial role in building relationships and ensuring these efforts reach the communities that need them most.
