Did you know that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends charting and evaluating your menstrual cycle as a vital sign? Vital signs, as the name suggests, indicate the status of the body’s vital function. Knowing the rhythms of your cycle, where you are each day in your unique cycle, and when things are going awry is a powerful tool everyone with a uterus can benefit from having.

In this group class we will cover the basics of menstrual cycle charting, review the hormones of the cycle and their function, how assess cervical fluid, how to take basal body temperature, and demystify some of the resources that are out that to aid in menstrual cycle tracking and awareness.

This is an in-person class taking place at the Anchorage Community Houses' NEW LOCATION at 4105 Turnagain Blvd E, Anchorage, Alaska 99517 in the Turnagain Arts Building in West Anchorage.

Space IS limited to be sure to reserve your spot! If you would prefer to at the door, you can still sign up and reserve your seat; simply select the “pay later” option.
